Since September 11th 2001, the internet has been awash with conspiracy theories. For most people, the very concept of any government being culpable in the slaughter of 2976 of its citizens was too terrifying to even contemplate. For some of us, once the shock of the attack began to wear off, nagging doubts refused to leave our consciousness, despite wave after wave of mainstream media onslaught, bombarding us with a version of events that seemed entirely developed the moment it was reported.
Those nagging doubts spawned the 9/11 Truth Movement; a disparate group of people from all over the planet who have tirelessly campaigned for an independent investigation into what really happened on that fateful day. From relatives of people who perished, to survivors of the attack, firefighters who fought the blaze, architects who designed the Twin Towers, demolition experts, respected academics, engineers, scientists, documentary filmmakers, country music legend, Willie Nelson, and actors Charlie and Martin Sheen, the movement continues to demand that the U.S. government answers the questions that the blatantly corrupt 9/11 Commission conveniently dodged:
1. Why were repeated warnings from international intelligence agencies ignored by the Bush administration?
2. Why did so many survivors and eye-witnesses report hearing explosions, before, during and after the planes hit the buildings?
3. Why was the collapse of Building 7 reported by the BBC while the building was still standing?
4. Why did the owner of the World Trade Center, Larry Silverstein, say that the decision was made to ‘pull’ Building 7, which is industry-speak for controlled demolition?

6. Why was there no evidence that a ‘plane’ crashed into the Pentagon?

8. Why did NORAD fail to mobilise U.S. aircraft in time to intercept the planes, when it had never failed to do so in the past?
9. Why were there so many U.S. Air Force training exercises taking place that morning, some of which were simulating the exact type of attack that was simultaneously taking place in New York?

12. Why were the 9/11 First Responders told by the City of New York that the air was safe to breathe, when the latter knew that the World Trade Center had been constructed using toxic materials, including asbestos?
13. Why did the 9/11 Commission rule that all three WTC buildings collapsed because of uncontrollable fires, when no steel-structured building in the history of architectural engineering has ever done so before or since?
14. Why were several Israeli’s in a van full of explosives arrested by police on the George Washington bridge, after it was reported that they were videoing the attacks and dancing in celebration afterwards, only to be released without charge?
15. Why did Bush and Cheney refuse to testify to the 9/11 Commission individually or under oath?
There are tens of thousands of films posted on Google Video and Youtube, each of them attempting to answer these questions and more, by painstakingly dissecting the known facts and eye-witness testimony.
In simple terms, it is physically impossible that the Twin Towers were brought down by the jets that crashed into them: the way the buildings collapsed, almost perfectly into their own footprints, was perfectly consistent with the nature of controlled demolitions with high-grade explosives; and jet fuel simply cannot burn at a temperature high enough to melt steel or pulverise concrete into dust. These are scientifically provable facts.
Furthermore, the Bush administration was founded on the principles documented by the Project for the New American Century (PNAC). In Rebuilding America’s Defenses, September 2000, the neo-fascist thinktank stated that:
“…The process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor…”
Former Vice President, Dick Cheney, was a founding member of PNAC and has been a prominant member of the Council on Foreign Relations for decades. It is also alleged that he failed to evacuate the Pentagon, which resulted 125 of his own staff losing their lives.
